The goals of Right as Run (RaR) personalized run coaching are to help you feel strong, supported, and to find joy in the process. By design, I work with a small number of athletes, so I can be fully invested in you and help you get the most out of your running. I can help you:
- Learn the ropes. For new runners want to start on the right foot.
- Feel energized and motivated. To start new habits and stick to a plan.
- Take on a new distance. From your first 5K to tackling that ultra.
- Work toward time goals. A personal best, a Boston-Qualifying time, that elusive sub-[fill in the blank].
- Rekindle your run love. If you’ve been burnt out or injured, we’ll get you back on track.
Whatever your goals, I’ll set you up with a plan, support, and a hearty side of high fives and positive energy to help you get there. Included with RaR monthly virtual run coaching:
- New athlete onboarding. Setting the foundation for success starts with sharing your runography. It’s important to me that we talk (in-person if you can meet in Indy or via video call) to start on the right foot. This is an in-depth interview to get to know you, your life, and how running fits into your big picture.
- Custom training plan. Science-backed plans written just for you considering your run history, current fitness, goals, and phase of training, updated 2-4 weeks at a time and conveniently housed on Final Surge. As an RRCA-certified coach, I use best practices to write your custom plan. Because life and training have ebbs and flows, this isn’t one and done. We can update the plan based on your results and feedback.
- Monthly video check-in call. For motivation, trouble-shooting, and staying connected. We can also talk recovery, or race strategy, or do one-on-one instruction on things like run drills or stretches.
- Ongoing communication and support. Advice and support is just an email or text away. I’ll monitor your data and regularly give feedback on your progress through the Final Surge platform also.
Coaching is done virtually, so I can help no matter where you live. If you’re in the Boston area, I’d be glad to meet in-person sometimes too!
Individual run coaching is $100/month, (with a minimum commitment of 3 months). After the initial period, plans roll into a month-to-month agreement and may be cancelled at any time with 1-month notice.
