Running isn’t cancelled, thank goodness. Things have changed, for sure, but not all of it bad. It’s kind of easy to focus on what I miss, but I’m trying to also honor what is keeping me going…

About saramcguyer
I started as a casual runner, and bit by bit, running took over as my thing. My big goal is to run a marathon in all 50 states. It's sort of my lifetime fitness plan. By day, I run Yes and Yonder, my own design and consulting firm. My husband and I live in Indianapolis, Indiana with our two rescue dogs, Brüski and Barnaby.

2020 Run Goals
New year, new goals. That’s usually how it goes for me. I love a good challenge, but I just wasn’t feeling called to a massive goal this year. Rather, I kept returning to a simple thing: keep showing up and chipping away. After much thought, here’s where I landed for 2020 goals…
A Golden Year
2019 was the first year I set very ambitious goals for my running, and there will be no humble this or humble that skirting around things. I smashed my goals and then some, and it feels pretty great. Before I look ahead at 2020 goals, some reflection on this golden year…
My 1st 10K: Jingle Bell Run 2019
My debut 10K was nearly also my first DNS. I am pretty shocked I was able to make it to the start line.
